Pipe Penetrations
Other common areas for water intrusion into a basement are sewerline, sump pump, and water main penetrations.

Most of these areas are lightly sealed with hydraulic cement as a 'water plug' during the early stages of construction. It is common knowledge in the waterproofing industry that applying a new layer of concrete over or around existing concrete forms what is called a 'cold joint'. This joint is now considered a weak spot, and will hold very little water pressure when those heavy rains come.

Also used with previously repaired foundation cracks, our AquaShield system is the perfect solution to this problem. This is a permanent weld, similar to a swimming pool liner, which seeps into the pours of concrete holding water pressure 40x the average lbs. per sq. inch of a newer foundation.

Don't bother with caulk, tar, or 'magic' waterproof paint when we'll give you a Lifetime Warranty in most situations!!
